“Triple Frontier” star Garrett Hedlund has joined the cast of the Sylvester Stallone-led Paramount+ series “Tulsa King.”
Sylvester Stallone’s portrayal of New York City mafia boss Dwight’s “General Manfredi” in the television series “Tulsa King” marked the Oscar nominee’s first as a TV leading man. Following a 25-year term, the protagonist of the story gets released from jail.
But once he is freed, his boss sends him to Tulsa to start a shop. Realizing that his mob family may not have his best interests at heart, Dwight steadily assembles a squad of unlikely personalities to assist him in establishing a new criminal empire in a place that may as well be another planet to him.
Taylor Sheridan, who created “Yellowstone,” acts as executive producer on the currently in-production “Tulsa King.” The show’s creator and executive producer is Terrence Winter.
Additionally, Stallone, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Allen Coulter, and Braden Aftergood work as executive producers with Sheridan and Winter. Moreover, the show is an MTV Entertainment Studio and 101 Studio production.
