Tramar Lacel Dillard, better known by his stage name Flo Rida, is an American rapper and entertainer who was born on September 16, 1979. Dillard was born on September 16, 1979, and grew up in the Miami Gardens neighbourhood of Carol City, Florida.

On March 18, 2008, Flo Rida’s debut album, Mail on Sunday, was made available. The Step Up 2: The Streets soundtrack also included the opening track, “Low,” which featured T-Pain. “Low” climbed to the #1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 list. Sean Kingston’s “Roll,” will. i. am’s “In the Ayer,” and Timbaland’s “Elevator” were the next songs to reach the Hot 100 and other charts.

The fourth album by Flo Rida, Wild Ones, which was originally titled Only One Rida (Part 2), was released in July 2012. The band’s first song, “Good Feeling,” was released on August 29, 2011. This song uses a sample from Etta James’ 1962 song “Something’s Got a Hold on Me.”

After Etta James passed away on January 20, 2012, Flo Rida dedicated the song in her memory. The song peaked at No. 3 in the United States and dominated the charts in Austria, Germany, and the UK in addition to other countries.
