Due to his numerous records, accomplishments, and accolades, he is widely regarded as the greatest wide receiver in NFL history, and one of the greatest players in NFL history.

Much is not known about Jacqueline Bernice Mitchell’s personal information like her age, date of birth, place of birth, and many more.

Furthermore, it’s not really clear how the couple meet but they date for a long time before getting married. Jacqueline Bernice Mitchell and his long-time boyfriend Rice got married on September 8, 1987. They got married in a beautiful ceremony in the presence of their friends and family. Their relationship and marriage were an inspiration to their young fans.

However their marriage didn’t last forever, and they ended up getting divorced in 2007. Bernice believed Jerry was involved in extramarital affairs, which led to the separation of the couple. With the proof of adultery, his wife filed for separation. The split was filed when Jerry was cheating on Jacqueline with a twenty-year-old Mexican woman who was alleged to be almost 30 years younger than him. He also had a paternity suit against him in 2002. Jacqueline filed for divorce in 2007, which became final in late December 2009. The couple was married for about 20 years and they did not sign any prenup.

The prenup was not as standard in those days as it is today. So, half of everything that Jerry owns went to Jacqueline. His mansion and other properties were valued to the tune of 22 million dollars. Since she could earn enough income to meet her needs from the asset she would own, she was not entitled to alimony. They planned to sell the house in which they lived to take half of the fortune. The relationship between Jerry and Jacqueline after the separation is also not revealed.

Jacqueline Bernice Mitchell and his ex-husband had three children together: Jacqui Bonet (born 1987), Jerry Rice Jr. (born 1991), and Jada Symone (born 1996). Jerry Jr., who attended high school at Menlo School in Atherton, California, graduated in 2009.

Jerry Jr. was a walk-on at UCLA and redshirted his first season. After three seasons and limited playing time, Jerry Rice Jr. graduated from UCLA and transferred to UNLV, and was eligible to play immediately.  Jacqueline Bernice Mitchell’s son Jerry Jr. played wide receiver for the Rebels, and had participated in a 49ers local pro day prior to the 2014 NFL Draft, but was not drafted.

As of October 21, 2019, Jacqueline Bernice Mitchell’s ex-husband Rice is married to Latisha Pelayo whom he has dated since 2008.

However, much has not been heard of Jacqueline Bernice Mitchell after her divorce from her ex-husband. She went off the limelight to enjoy her privacy.
