Malcolm Luciano Rodriguez, a linebacker for the Detroit Lions of the National Football League, was born on March 29, 1999.  In Wagoner, Oklahoma, Rodriguez attended Wagoner High School. In high school, he was a quarterback and a defensive back. In his career, he accumulated 6,144 passing yards, 2,449 rushing yards, and 115 touchdowns.

At Oklahoma State, he participated in college football. In the sixth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Rodriguez was selected by the Detroit Lions with the 188th overall pick. The 23-year-old player is an American national.
