  • According to her parents, Maureen had started singing from the young age of 3 years. Furthermore, at night, she would oftentimes sing herself to sleep by reciting what she had heard on the radio during the day.
  • She knew that she wanted to be a professional singer at the young age of 8 years.
  • Maureen was diagnosed with posterior cortical atrophy, which is a form of Alzheimer’s disease, in 2021. In light of her diagnosis, she made the decision to stop doing concert performances and announced her diagnosis to her fans the following year in 2022.
